Today in Media Studies I decided that the topic for my coursework will be rap music, this is because of my interest in the subject. I will be creating a music magazine cover and a 2 page spread based on the genre and conventions surrounding it. The conventions of rap music that I will use include; Up and coming artists Harsh reality of less privileged areas Urban music Social media influences Stereotyping of teens by authority figures Racial stereotyping
